  1. Rick knows who is logged in on the forum. But how can he track what you're reading on the fourm? And even if he can, how could he possibly know who (among everyone who looked at that thread) cut & pasted it here?

  2. So, we have forum proof that Nichole has not changed one iota.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I wouldn't judge until you see exactly what Nichole wrote. You can't tell anything from a poster saying she wrote something like 'this'.

  5. Did you notice the search function on Nichole's blog? Go check and see what subject is the most searched.

    ReplyDelete
  6. ^^^^:) and to 11:44 I saw it and it is enough for me.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Ha! I just saw that. Nice. :)

  8. 5 packs of enamel dots for $11.99 on Peachy Cheap today.

  9. obama is the most searched because the smack blog said she posted against him. so the amazing numbers of people who read here didn't realize it was on FB and not on her blog. actually, she posted against obamacare, not obama. and then she got smarter and shut her FB so it is no longer accessible to anyone but her friends.

she's entitled. although it is risky for any businessperson to get political online. in this country you will piss off 45 - 52% of everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Go to bed you are drunk

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanks for explaining why that's in the search list - I had no idea why it would be there! Oh my gosh - too funny. We should just keep searching "obama" to keep it there, lol. But just typing that name makes me a little nauseated.

    ReplyDelete
  12. She is Tea Party.

    -----------------------

Duh! Does a bear shit in the woods?

    ReplyDelete
  13. It is there because there are Internet "crawlers" that search for content on blogs and one must have hit on her blog and done some serious searching. She has never posted for or against any political party or agenda.

    ReplyDelete
  14. YES, SHE HAS made it clear that she is Tea Party. The remark on her blog was removed as well as the remark on the forum. She is activist for Tea Party. No real surprise as her spelling matches the kinds of signs they make.

    ReplyDelete
  15. 6:55 - Biased much?

    ReplyDelete
  16. i voted for obama twice and think it is fine that she supports the other side. last time I checked she has the right. however, she kept her FB page open (I saw the political post) and that triggered no doubt the post here which then triggered a bunch of dopes to go to her blog and search for obama. personally i find it funny and kind of sad. not because it is obama on her blog in big bold letters but because that is the most searched item

ps still think her designs rock

  17. 7:22 there is a mountain of actual evidence to show that what I said was true. Additionally, there have been IQ studies/education levels done on these people and they are on the average fairly "low functioning" citizens. Most are also white males averaging age 66.

  18. I purchased from PTI last Saturday, and my package arrived on my doorstep in California on Wednesday.

I don't care about Nichole's politics. I like PTI's products and I hope they continue to improve their customer service. I stopped buying for a long time but am ready to give them a shot again.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wouldn't you think with 252 entries for the last blog hop they could highlight some different people in their newsletter?! It is super annoying to see the same person (Leigh) chosen so many times for that spot...I have my doubts about anyone but the "favorites" winning anything on the forum anniversary contests.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I noticed the same thing. I agree with your likely conclusion.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Do you (general you) think PTI is aware of number of other companies coming out with new inks? Just this month Heidi Swapp and Studio Calico released new inks... Mama Elephant, Avery Elle, and Simon Says released new inks late last year. PTI is no longer the "top dog" of inks + stamps, yet they are the only ones who consistently have ink problems. Are they rushing through the testing process to release new inks? Or using an inferior (and less expensive) product, which causes the inks to turn gray/brown after a certain amount of time? What do you guys think?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have wondered this too. I think it is probably trying to save money by using inferior ingredients. I still believe $$ is always their bottom line. Not quality, not customer service, not reputation, but $$$$$. Almost all their problems come back to $$$$$ (refusing to refund, making people pay return shipping on defective products, denying defective products, slow shipping, too few employees to fill orders in a timely manner).

  23. Can anyone tell me what font PTI used for Mini Blooms and Scrolling Script? I'd really appreciate it, I've been searching and can't seem to find good alternatives. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Has anyone seen the sneak peeks on Nichole's blog? The scribble stamp looks like something a preschooler designed.

    ReplyDelete
  25. ^^YES!^^

Sorry, can't help with the fonts.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yes, seen the peeks and wow it's only day 1. I like 1,2 and 5.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Sneak Peek #3 is amazing. Who ever thought anyone could come up with that. I predict there will be addition set after addition set and this may be the top selling set ever. I am so excited. This woman does not need a DT when she has this kind of talent. Nicole got her edge back!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. ^^^
That makes me laugh! Same old, same old this month. What edge? Lol

    ReplyDelete
  29. The scribbled circles might seem simple but the set actually will make beautiful cards and backgrounds. Sometimes simplicity is the key rather than designs that are trying too hard. And some of the other offerings this month look great too. I think it will be a good month with lots of fun new products! The dies and accompanying stamps look so pretty!

    ReplyDelete
  30. ^^^ I agree.

I think sometimes people just like something to complain about or nitpick ... to each his/her own, I suppose. After all, bitterness will ultimately harm the person who harbours it the most.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It figures. I'm ready to let bygones be bygones and go back to Papertrey. Now I'm looking at the sneak peeks and they are crap! I'm more irritated by the crummy designs than I am by all of their foolishness in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  32. 11:35, you're being sarcastic right?! I sure hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It just proves to me that I can be a stamp designer. Nichole has 7 years experience and I am at the same level as her most recent design.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh, 1:18, I think it is genius. As genius as giving an elephant a paint brush and selling the resulting painting for $100,000. Remember when people speculated that Nichole's well was drying up? Well, I think we have now hit the dusty rock bottom. From 11:35

    ReplyDelete
  35. mean petty jealous comments. start your own business. or maybe you have.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Why is is mean & petty only when you don't agree??
Both sides have made snotty comments.

  37. Like sneak 7 & 9.

    ReplyDelete
  38. For those with a Cameo or Portrait, what program do you use to keep track of your fonts? Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Why all of the secrecy about Maille?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Nothing like a PTI sneak peek to bring the crazies out. If you hate them so much why do you still follow them. Is it just so you can smack them? Pathetic. I happen to love the peeks.

    ReplyDelete
  41. 12:37 I agree with you.

    ReplyDelete
  42. 9:44 - As someone (I think Danielle) on the thread said, it's Maile's news to share on the forum if /when she wishes. If you want to know what it is, just google her name and check her Twitter feed. With the pictures it will be very clear what's taking her time the last few weeks.

    ReplyDelete
  43. She announced a pregnancy awhile back. I think she has or about to have a newborn.

    ReplyDelete
  44. She had the baby a few weeks ago. I don't get the secrecy, either.

    ReplyDelete
  45. nichole once posted that Maile is very private. She is sort of but she makes the error that most do. they reveal their lives on FB and twitter for all to see, but not on her blog. it would have been more appropriate for her, as a businesswoman, to post a quick. I had a baby. I'll be off for 3 months.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I respect Maile's privacy and right to announce on her blog why she's absent or not. I honestly don't care why she's absent. Not trying to sound mean there. I check out their blogs for their creations not their personal life.
I had a blog once and I only posted my crafty stuff nothing personal about me. If I went blog hopping I only look at their cards/ projects and skip anything about their life. Nothing personal to anyone, that's just me.

    ReplyDelete

  47. Regardless of if you care about her personal life, since she is on the DT and people visit and expect to see posts from her, she should have left a post about being out for a while. It is proper business etiquette as 5:11 noted.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I agree. Could not care less about what's happening in any of their private lives, but if you're going to be absent from a posting event, then you should post that so people don't keep going back to see. Goodness, if you have people following you, then at least have that amount of respect for your visitors.

Yeah, I see the point about Nichole's scribbles. I guess there is some kind of "genius" to putting out crap and being able to convince people that it's wow.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Regarding Maile posting on her blog or not posting the reason for her absence - maybe she would have, but he ended up arriving early. Now she has more important things to think about. It's hardly a reason to get figuratively strung up online. Cut her some slack.

    ReplyDelete
  50. So all of you people who want to own a stamp store - did you see on Splitcoast that Flourishes is selling their company? Six figures only need inquire. Seems a bit pricey to me. And an odd place to post it - but I guess you just never know who's hanging out on Splitcoast.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Huh. Looks like it's been removed.

    ReplyDelete
  52. There are scribbles in a stamp set from the MME Collectable line which came out a year ago.

And wth are they thinking releasing a set for February birthdays that nobody will even have until February is 2/3 over?

    ReplyDelete
  53. 10:18 - Because it's a monthly series, and because of the anniversary date they always go from February through January. It's either that, or extend a monthly series into the next "year". So it's either release the first set a couple of weeks too late, or have confusion later in the year, and you know some people would get confused. To me, it's not a big deal either way, but it does make things cleaner to end a series at the end of their "year".

    ReplyDelete
  54. It follows that it will be late each month.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Well each month's birthday set better have a "belated" sentiment in it, then. Personally I think their ineptitude is showing.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I think it will greatly reduce sales. Personally, if I cannot use it right away, I put it away and forget about it. Since I know that is my MO, I don't buy things ahead. Found some gorgeous Xmas stamps 70% off but by next year they would be outta sight, outta mind.

    ReplyDelete
  57. LOL - I hadn't even thought of that but spot on. They should have released February and March BOTH this month, then at least they would be on schedule for releasing the April set in March. Doofuses.

    ReplyDelete
  58. To your point, not sure why did not release Feb and March together, but they are releasing Mar and April next month. So after that they will be on schedule to release May in April

    ReplyDelete
  59. Duh! Why didn't they release March this month? Then they could have ended the year by releasing February in the January 2015 release. Not too bright.

    ReplyDelete
  60. wonder what it must be like to have your every move nitpicked and mocked on the internet.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I bet it never occurred to them until someone told them and then they decided to do the Mar/Apr. combo.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I think it's as simple as poor planning. Contrary to what nichole stated as having their entire planned out, it's clearly not the case. They jump on trends and copy other companies all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Well whatever it was, I'm glad they saw the light.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I am not liking too many of the sneak peeks. But, I like many of their old products, and hoping to place an order.
What do you girls think of their pedal pusher stamp set + die. Worth the 40 $ ?

    ReplyDelete
  65. 6:11 yes. Get it. I hope they have a 7% discount for this anniversary. I am planning to buy most of the items on my wish list. Hits and misses for me during the sneak peeks.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I never come here anymore, but thought I would just drop in to say that two days, while I was signing into PTI's forum, Michelle Wooderson's user name popped up as being online. Once I was actually signed in, her name did not appear in the "users online" field. Wow! I'm predicting she's on the design team this year.

    ReplyDelete
  67. That would be interesting. I used to love visiting her blog before she quit PTI. It hasn't appealed to me much since then because I'm really not interested in Project Life or similar pocket-style scraping.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I use my Pedal Pushers all the time. I don't care for any one of the peeks yet.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Does anyone know what stamp sets were in the very first couple of PTI releases? I am trying to figure out when I discovered them. I think my first set was Little Lady Bug.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Green Thumb was another one. Why don't you just go to the website and look under "stamp sets by release date." That's pretty straightforward.

I actually like a couple of the peeks - shocker. Maybe in a few years, I'll have enough $5 sets chosen to get free shipping, lol! I had several big sets in my cart over the last few months, but every few weeks I'd look at it and they'd seem really mediocre so remove remove remove. Still hoping to round out my stamp choices with some decent sets from PTI like in the good old days.

  71. Papertrey's First Stamp Sets (one set per month)
(If you want to see more, just go back into the archives on Nichole's Blog starting in Feb 2007)

    Paper Tray
    Butterfly Kisses
    Green Thumb
    Faux Ribbon
    Little Lady
    Text Boxed

Then they started releasing multiple sets
Borders & Corners (4 sets: Circles, Ovals, Squares, Rectangles)
    Spooky Sweets
    Beautiful Blooms

    and so on....

Give us the link to your blog and you can find out.

PTI - including Nichole's blog and the DT's blogs - is a business.

    ReplyDelete
  75. 1:59 pm,
Too much work to be the first person to identify the stamp sets, add them to a special wish list and then be the first person with all the correct answers. Plus you have to rely on PTI to check the answers and pick the 'first' person.

So not worth the time & effort!
I'd rather count the snowflakes or whatever that they used to hide in the DT projects.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I hope MW will be back. I've stopped visiting her blog when she left PTI too.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I can't imagine why she would come back.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Didn't MW sell all her PTI sets?

I really love the DT now but do miss Jess Witty - she was so inventive and had such beautiful CAS cards.

    ReplyDelete
  79. changes afoot in DT! get ready ladies

    ReplyDelete
  80. I hope my faves don't leave ... :(

    ReplyDelete
  81. let's see. we already know that christina is back. dawn, erin, melissa b, and heather are still designing sets. the DT that is still on the forum is likely back.

that leaves very few who are leaving. maybe maille will take an extended break and just promote her sets.

    but laura bassen? stays
    ashley newell cannon stays
    danielle ??
    betsy ??
    debbie olsen stays

erin leaves the DT but stays as a stamp designer.

what do I base this on?

    nuttin!!

    ReplyDelete
  82. I hope Betsy doesn't leave... I enjoy her posts so much more than any of the others.

I think there is no way in hell Erin will not be on the DT if she is still affiliated with PTI. That is just dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I think Betsy is the best one of all.

    ReplyDelete
  84. What new products do you think they'll have this year? Any predictions?

    ReplyDelete
  85. 1. pigment inks like Fresh ink in PTI colors. will fly off the shelves
    2. new colors
    3. full size background stamps
    4. impression plates with blank spaces in the middle and stamps to fit inside the spaces
    5. Danielle will leave.
    6. colored envelopes
    7. dies that produce things like shredded paper
    8. party and food papers -- straws, little bottles and crates

    ReplyDelete
  86. Oh no, Debbie O left PTI. I'm sad because I will miss her PTI posts.

    ReplyDelete
  87. ACN is having a baby soon. This month maybe.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I thought Leigh Penner would be added.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Why woul Leigh Penner be added when her cards look like she made them with her feet?

    ReplyDelete
